Covers pelvic floor dysfunctions, types of incontinence, and prolapse, including symptoms and risk factors. Techniques for effectively cueing pelvic floor contractions in isolation will also be discussed.
We will address critical health issues such as cardiovascular health and the risks of heart disease, as well as osteoporosis and osteopenia, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of these conditions.
A question toolbox will be provided to foster empathetic engagement with clients. This section will cover important exercise considerations, necessary modifications, and key programming components for women aged 50 and older. We will also discuss the benefits of water-based exercises and highlight what to avoid for optimal safety and effectiveness.
Here, we will focus on the silver linings of menopause, encouraging a positive perspective and providing guidance on when and where to refer clients for additional support.
